Overall, this is a full bodied blend, with big chocolate & blackberry notes. It loves milk, very smooth. Lingering cocoa finish. All 3 of the beans are fully washed, giving it a richness that hits our target. We think this is the best one yet!

High grown in the area Bogotá on the central branch of the Andean Mountains, Tenza Valley comes from two producer groups. Between them, they cultivate approximately 1,215 hectares of coffee. The groups have opposite growing cycles which allows good availability through the year. With average temperatures of 19 – 24ºC and 1500-2000ml rainfall, it’s an ideal coffee growing area. As well as coffee, the area produces maize, garden vegetables, oranges, pineapples, mangoes and avocadoes.
Very volcanic region, 3 surrounding volcanoes (Agua, Fuego, Acatenango). Shade grown at high density, it develops slowly and becomes denser.
